What is a TIPIC/NSA

A TIPIC is a Titling Insurance Producer Independent Contractor licensed in the state of Maryland, while NSA is a Notary Signing Agent certified through the National Notary Associations.

Both TIPIC/NSA are required to be background screened and obtain error and omission insurance.

TIPIC/NSA is a Notary Public who is hired as an independent contractor by a "closing agent" to ensure that real estate loan products are properly signed by the client, notarized by the notary and returned for processing to title company/lender in a timely manner. TIPIC/NSA do not give loan advise nor answer any questions pertaining to a clients loan amount, interest rates, and etc.

TIPIC/NSA verifies the clients identity, witness their signatures, administer oaths or affirmations statement to the client, and ensure documents are accurately signed and declared truth to the by the client.
